Hi! This my first makeup review! I am soo hyped for some reason, lol!
So, I saw this video on Facebook or somewhere and I was so amazed with this Dermacol Cover that I just had to get one to see for myself!
Ok, so I know there are some selling stuff online but I was so lucky to find one in Ripples, 1688 branch!
It looks like this:
Here are its claims, directions for use…

It comes in skin tones, and I got lucky with this one:

It’s so close to my color!
In my makeup routine:
Well my routine is: primer (if I’m in for a long day), cc cushion, concealer (using Dermacol) and pressed powder.
So I apply it only on my problem spots, and dark circles. The pressed powder holds it in for most of the day, and I only retouch the powder.
I don’t use it to sculpt my brows as it’s too dark for that part. I’d suggest a lighter shade for that purpose.
Pros
- Heavy coverage
- A small amount goes a long way!
- Blends well in the skin
- Smooth when finished with powder
Cons
- Over application can look cakey or give a flat appearance
- Applies better with fingers. It’s a con for me coz I prefer not having to dirty my fingers with makeup. The beauty blender spreads the product thin, though it is a smoother finish. (This is good for a more natural look though, but it is a concealer so I want it to conceal, lol)
Overall judgement:
I love it! I always want a flawless coverage and this does exactly that on my blemishes (e.g. acne scars). It’s also so close to my skin tone so I don’t have to worry about uneven coloring. It blends well with my favorite Nichido pressed powder too!
Tell me in the comments if you liked it as much as I did!
*edit: I saw Nikkitutorials and guess what, it’s foundation! But I still use it as concealer because, for me, it’s too much for just an everyday look. In makeup there are no rules, so whatever, haha!
I’ve always wanted to try this
